Felicity Appleweed lives in a small white house in the center of Goldenberry, and her house is mainly ruled by her thirteen cats. Christopher Addams, an aspiring journalist and renter of the upper half of Mrs. Appleweed's house, tries to focus as he researches, but the constant meowing of the cats irritates and distracts him.
